Recently, Esco’s Pizzeria celebrated its grand opening in Mid-City Los Angeles with an unforgettable event, bringing authentic New York-style pizza and Harlem-inspired vibes to the local community.

The event featured live DJs, street art, classic cars, and a special release of Buffalo and BBQ pizza slices, drawing an enthusiastic, diverse crowd. Esco, the pizzeria’s founder, said, “This was more than just an opening; it was a celebration of community. Seeing everyone come together with locals, families, and even neighboring businesses proved how strong Mid-City’s support is. We’re grateful to be part of such a welcoming community and excited to serve them.”

Esco’s new partner, Aryn Drake-Lee, previously owner of Beulah’s Biscuit (featured in the LA Times), brings extensive local knowledge that complements their shared vision of a neighborhood pizzeria that feels like home. “After years in this community, I’ve seen how pizza is a universal favorite that brings people together,” Aryn shared. “Teaming up with Esco felt natural because his deep understanding of pizza pairs perfectly with my knowledge of the community and real estate. Together, we’re creating something much stronger than we could alone.”

This reimagined pizzeria, located at the vibrant corner of Pico and La Brea, pays homage to New York’s pizzeria culture with Harlem-inspired decor, a Knicks-themed logo, and a welcoming ambiance.

Open until 11 p.m., Esco’s offers signature pizzas, including vegan options, tailored to LA’s tastes.
